Anyone use them?

Any increase in MPG?

What vehicle do you have them on?

I don't want to hear what the company says, I want real use figures if any.

My Tahoe has a 5.3 L engine. The K&N filter was dirty so I replaced it with a Fram filter and lost 1.2 mpg. I only have the replacement element from K&N which I cleaned and reinstalled just to see and I regained the 1.2 mpg.

There are a lot of people that say that it helps and those that say it's a waste of money.  On many vehicles, if you simply over oil the filter just slightly, it will foul/dirty up your Mass Air Flow Sensor and cause you to loose even more MPG's.  For me, it's a waste of money.  Engineers that get paid way more than me to design the engines and setups the way they do for a reason.

I cant tell much difference, maybe a slight gain in MPG but not much (maybe 1ish if that) and I get 12/14 so I need all the help I can get!!, I have one on my 97 Land Cruiser which has a lift, snorkle, winch bumper and 33inch tires, and the snorkle helped more than the K&N, good luck

much love,
