Went out for round two after yesterday. Met private pilot at the launch and got the yaks in the water before sunrise. I ended up catching 4 reds between 6 and 22 inches, and he caught 3 reds and a trout. We fished the docks on the north side of the sound.

Nice!!

I'm going out this afternoon for a couple of hours... then on Sunday am. Hopefully... I can catch a red or something. I need to put out my pin fish trap and stock my freezer with bait.

Yep, my 2nd smallest redfish ever. I caught one that was about 4 inches once on a 1/4 oz spoon. I wish I had a camera for that one.

I caught one that was maybe 3 inches once. He "ate" a 1/4 oz johnson sprite. Could barely even tell what it was.

All those little ones... were they like "peach" in color? I caught one about 6" in Escambia Bay last year... it was the prettiest fish I have ever seen in that area. I was upset because I didn't have my camera with me. It had black trimmed fins... just a beautiful fish. I threw it back in... like a hot potato!!! lol

My 6incher today was just a normal sound red. Golden color with a black spot at the back of the tail.

I caught a speck once on a clouser minnow that was not much bigger than the fly. I just about picked up and cast the poor thing. D'oh!
