Please help out!

Hi,
Onyx and Hoss are in need of a place to live. Onyx is a black lab and Hoss is a black lab hound mix. Both are very loving animals with tons of youthfulness in them. We can no longer keep them due to our emergency living situation and need to find a new home for them fast. They are being kept temporarily in a small 2bedroom apartment. Not the ideal place for 2 large breed dogs. If you know anyone, or yourself, that would love to love these beautiful dogs please PM or call me. My name is Matt and my number is 850-776-0445. Thank you all so much for any help you can provide.

Watts

Brighthouse Sux!!!!!!!!

Went to watch last nights ballgame and find out theres no Fox !!!!!! :hoppingmad:hoppingmad:hoppingmadCalled Brighthouse and they said there under negotiation with Fox to establish a channel. Its not worth hauling away tin type scrape for "free" anymore. Plus, The State passed a new scrape selling law where you have to give out personal info...weigh/height, hair color, vehicle model/tag # etc and give a ink (thumb) finger print. I dont mind doing all that because they're trying to catch the thieves who steal A/C's etc.

Also, You have to produce a "title" now if you try to scrape a whole car/vehicle. The way around this if you cant get a title, Is to cut the vehicle up in pieces. Hopefully prices will increase eventually because there is big $ to be made but not at these current prices!

stock up on ammo

I myself have been for a little while....and am going to do more....you never know whats next in this troubled time, a gun is worthless without the ammo for it!!!....you could always use it for a club....If Obama wins and you could still buy it......you may not be able to afford it....I may be crazy(and probably am)...but why take a chance....its going to get ugly....(I hope not though):banghead:doh:letsdrink

PFF Blood Drive Update

Okay these are the details I have so far. We are needing at least 20 people to committ in order for the blood center to bring a bus to our site. That shouldnt be a problem. The blood drive will be held at Emerald Cost Marine on Saturday October 11th. I will nail down a definant time when I speak to the blood center folks tomorrow. I know that there are a few business owners out there in the fishing/hunting industry who are members. I was wondering if your business would be interested in donating some sort of item or items to raffel of as door prizes to those that donate. Dosent have to be high dollar items just somthing to make it more interesting to those that give. To those of you who have never given blood before due to needle shyness there is really nothing to it. It's not near as bad as a wasp sting. Be prepared though. They will ask you a bunch of personal and I mean personal questions so dont be offended. You will be in a private room for the quick 5 minute interview. I really hope we have a big turn out. This will be a great way for members to meet one another and it's for a great cause. How many folks can say "I saved two people's lives today" If all goes well Kenny Mann(Emerald Cost Marine) has offered to have a fall blood drive / cookout for the next one. For the next one, if there is one I would like to get some sponsers and make up a few PFF Blood Drive t-shirts with the sponser name on them. So I need at least 20 warm bodies to committ. Who's in?? EDIT...... If you are interested in donating somthing for a raffel please pm me. Thanks

****** 2008 Drive For Life Event******
**** Donate Blood July 1st- January 9th and rigister to win a 2008 Kia Optima****

First Prize- 2008 Kia Optoma
Second Prize- $500.00 gas card
Third Prize- $250.00 Gas Card

Everyone who donates blood will recieve. He'd also "take appropriate gas and oil from Mexico and the Middle East as payment for all debts we are owed by them," as well as end diplomatic immunity and taxpayer health care for elected officials. The "Cat Scratch Fever" wild man would eliminate welfare, and "able-bodied Americans who refuse to work will be sent to Cuba, Mexico, England and France." As for the UN, "[I'd] refuse to pay one red cent more to the UN until other nations pony up their fair share - but maintain membership just to keep our eyes on the bastards."

Can and how can you fly your fishing poles with you???

I am looking at taking a trip down to Ft. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.
The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.
He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You
have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. But It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Remember that friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us."
It's National Friendship Week. Show your friends how much you care. My dad says the more beer he
drinks the prettier my mom gets."
--Tim, 7 years old

"Beer makes my dad sleepy and we get to watch what we want
on television when he is asleep, so beer is nice. "
--Mellanie, 7 years old

"My Mom and Dad both like beer. My Mom gets funny when she
drinks it and takes her top off at parties, but Dad doesn't think this is
very funny."
--Grady, 7 years old

"'My Mom and Dad talk funny when they drink beer and the
more they drink the more they give kisses to each other, which is a good
thing."
--Toby, 7 years old

"My Dad gets funny on beer. He is funny. He also wets his
pants sometimes, so he shouldn't have too much.
--Sarah, 7 years old

"My Dad loves beer. The more he drinks, the better he
dances. One time he danced right into the pool."
--Lilly, 7 years old

"I don't like beer very much. Every time Dad drinks it, he
burns the sausages on the barbecue and they taste disgusting."
--Ethan, 7 years old

"I give Dad's beer to the dog and he goes to sleep."
--Shirley, 7 years old

"My Mom drinks beer and she says silly things and picks on
my father. Whenever she drinks beer she yells at Dad and tells him to go
bury his bone down the street again, but that doesn't make any sense."
--Jack, 7 years old
Friends child sick

Hi,
A friend of mine who lives out of state has an 11 year old who has been sick for a couple of months and loosing weight. Tommy stated that he already has 10-15 signed already for next year, but that was for this style of offense

pearly gates

got this off another site.

Two women are new arrivals at the pearly gates, and are comparing
stories
on how they had died.
First woman-- "I froze to death."
> > >
> > > Second woman -- "You froze to death - how horrible!"
> > >
> > > First woman-- "Well, it wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from
> > > the cold,
> > > I began to get warm and sleepy,
> > > and finally died a peaceful death. What about you?"
> > >
> > > Second woman - - "I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected
> > > that my
> > > husband was cheating, so I came
> > > home early to catch him in the act. But instead, I found him all by
> > > himself in the den, watching TV."
> > >
> > > First woman -- "So what happened?"
> > >
> > > Second woman- - "I was so sure there was another woman there
> > > somewhere
> > > that I started running all over the
> > > house looking. I ran up into the attic and searched and down to
> > > the
> > > basement. Then I went through every closet and checked under
> > > every bed. I
> > > kept this up until I had looked everywhere, and finally became so
> > > exhausted that I just keeled over with a heart attack and died!"
> > >
> > > First woman-- "Too bad you didn't look in the freezer-- we'd both
> > > still be
> > > alive.

Automotive repair?

My truck is about to drive me nuts :banghead I own a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado with almost 80,000 miles. A couple weeks ago, I noticed I couldn't lock or unlock the truck with the remotes on the key chains. First I thought maybe the batteries had both kicked the bucket at the same time. Then I realized the passenger side power window would not operate at all with either switch :banghead Whats even more confusing is that when I start rolling the doors are supposed to auto lock. The driver lock engages, but the passenger lock does not. Also, when you open the passenger door, the dome lights do not come on. You can close the passenger door, walk around and open the driver door and they come on :doh. I've checked the fuses that I thought would be linked to the problem without any luck.

Has anybody had any similar experience and fixed the problem? I've tried locating a forum for that truck with no luck.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mike

ALTMAN LANDSCAPING!!

Give Altman Landscaping a call for all your landscaping and Lawn maintence needs.
