| Went at about 5pm yesterday. Was expecting a 10-15mph wind "decreasing late in the afternoon" Made the run from Joe's bayou to Indian bayou hoping to hit the flats. Wind seemed to be slacking, but was still a little choppy. So headed into Indian bayou to let it die down. Fished the docks with no luck. Decided to look at the flats again, wind was screaming by this point. Had to make the run in my 15' jon boat into the 1'-1.5' chop....got a little wet, and my dog was pissed. Finally made it back to Joes bayou and caught a few trout in the 15"-17" range. Called it an evening after that. Haven't been having the best luck with weather lately.

The Weather Guesser has been in the 50% range in accuracy lately as far as the wind and waves. Who ever this guy is needs to be replaced with someone with better forsight. It is a really big waste of gas to get from the house to the water only to find out that the water is too rough to have a decent time on the water. when instead I could have had better intel from the Weather Guesser before I left the house.

You catch some, you lose some but the beer will never say no or try to run away.
