| Kind of a late post but since I don't get to post too often didn't want to miss the chance. Spent spring break (wife's a teacher) in Orange Beach. Not the best beach weather with cool temps and lots of wind, so I was able to convince her to get on the water with me. Put the boat in Tuesday AM and trolled up and down the beach with no luck. Live shrimp in the Livewell were screamin to get eaten so we headed to Alabama Point Jetty. Landed 4 Sheepies, 1 Black Drum, and 1 Spanish. Pomps were on for just about everyone else, but no luck on our part. Thursday, got in a little earlier and headed to the Jetty again. Stayed for about 30 mins with the waves filling the boat with water and decided to head in to the Perdido Pass Bridge. Lots of wind but no waves. Stayed for 4 hours battling the wind. Final tally, 8 more Sheepies, a few Blues, 1 small Gag (still swimmin). Not a bad two days on the water. Lots of fun, wife got some sun, and a few freezer bags full of fish!
