| We had an absolute blast out there today. We caught our 4 man limit of snapper in the first 20 minutes, and proceeded to catch snapper probably about 40 or so, but threw them back. Then flipper flew in and started taking bait off on the way down and snapper and grouper off on the way up. twice I had good grouper on jigs and flipper eat said fish and busted me off jig and all. On another spot the aj's were thick boated 2 legal and a dozen short. I had a real nice one on a butterfly jig and flipper came in and played keep away with me long enough to cut the jack off right behind the head and then a 7' bull shark ate the head and butterfly. 40 minutes later I cut one of the stingers off to save my jig from the jaws of death. Only caught 1 short trigger, and boated no grouper, flipper kept eating them on the way up. All in all fantastic day all 4 stayed bowed up all day. But had a bumpy wet ride home. Went SW and wind out of the SE. I sure enjoyed it for sure. Don't let anyone tell you that Trevalla rods and Torium 20 reels aren't any good. The proof is in the pictures.

Chris, Why in the world do the pictures sometimes look like a dummy put them in. Instead of stacking them one over the other.

I sure am glad you can't find snapper anymore. The darn things are a pest, you can't even get the bait to the bottom for grouper.

Nice pics! I'd love to have a fun day like that sometime soon! Been a while since I've hit the open Gulf. I think the Bulls just add some spice to the haul! Its a shame they messed up the limits on the Snapper, its one of my favorite fish out there! Did you guys see any Triggers?

| Oooops! I meant Mahi-Mahi when you were out. I read in your post about the Trigger. Tight Lines!

I haven't seen and Mahi Mahi yet this season, However I hear they are just beyond where I am fishing so it shouldn't be long before they show up. I have only caught a few triggers and they were 11" so we quit fishing 2 hook rigs.
