| My brother came down from Michigan for a few days of fishing. Decided Saturday ( our 4th day ) was our day to get offshore. Got to shoreline at 4:30 am and made it out about 8 miles and anchored up. No boats came close all day. Beautiful day...the water ever layed down a little. Was able to land 3 red snapper and 1 lane. Came in and decided to finish up with a little inshore action. 2 specs. Really enjoyed having my brother down.

| Thanks for the report and the pics. That was a real nice lane snapper. I wish there were a lot more of them around. Glad that you got a decent day to take your brother out. It is a pain when people come in to visit and the weather blows up like it has been doing lately. If you gut those snapper while you are on the water it sure makes the fillets look a lot prettier when you clean them at home. It is also interesting to see what they are feeding on.
