My son finally got in from oversea'a for some needed R and R . Took him out in the gulf sunday for the first time.  Hit only one spot and we caught some nice mingo's in the 15-16 inch range!  Good eaters!  Hopefully we can get in one more trip before he has to return  Nice to have him home...

Ditto! Thanks for all you are doing for our country! I hope you always get your limits when you are able to be home and go fishing. How much longer do you have before you can remain stateside and fish "all" the time? BTW, great catch! Those things are like candy! Great taste! Tight Lines and this Holiday's for you man!

I would like to thank all of you that replyed, and my son thanks all of you for your appreaciation. We were able to get out one last time yesterday and we caught somemore mingo's and one nice trigger.  I don't know what he hooked and we never will know for sure, but for twenty minutes he had his hands full, and then it happened.  The ugly stick tiger rod broke!!! you should have seen the look on his face!   It was worth every dollar!  thanks again for all your words, he leaves for another year tuesday, sure was nice having him home.
