I went Tuesday night and fought the wind and got 22.  Had only 2 fish up until about 2 am and the wind finally laid so we could see.  The are still out there just takes a little more time and patience this time of year to find them!!!  The WIND has been relentless!!! I waited for a good night and finally decided there wasn't going to be one so I said the hell with it and went anyway.  We just put the rear of the boat in the wind and went with it and used the TM as a rudder!!! If the wind would would have slacked off a little earlier I think that we could have done a little better but daylight caught us.  Just keep grindin you'll find'em!!!

Sounds like the time to hit it during this windy time is into the early am hours and the wind isn't so bad?

So!!!! you only got 22... Bless your heart. I would be happy with 7 or 8 nice ones myself. I havent been in a few weeks. Between the wind and just getting a new puppy it just hasnt worked out for me. But!!!! Monday is a holiday and that means no work so I am planning on going sunday night and staying till I get a limit.

They're in the sand! Jokin'- I hear that they're catching some around the P'cola pass- hook n- line. Seems like there should be some in the Bayous as well- if you can ever catch it calm.

That's what I'm talking about. Just go make it happen! Nice report. I knew they had to be there! Darn, what's your name? You'd make a good fishing buddy- I enjoyed the post! I've read post after post- kinda discouraging really- until I found yours. The fish are all over the darn place I've been told and I've been reading about weather.... I can't get over it! I can catch up on weather phenomenon on the weather channel. Where are you at out there Donnie Rozier? I know you've got a report... Common!

Thanks for the encouragement friend- and bringing some life to this topic! (Floundering) I'll try to return the favor for you. (with an upcoming post!)
