We drove across from Mississippi Wednesday morning and left out for the Paradise hole. Quick limit of reasonable snapper in good seas. Went out again Thursday in a bit rougher water. Only one of my 3 crewmates was sick though. We had to work harder for the snapper, but picked up mangroves and a few Triggers as well. The fish would bite then stop, depending on current and wind. After about an hour without a fish I finally caught the last snapper, only to watch a HUGE Bull Shark take it. Talk about a maneater. It was a VERY big shark. The seas picked up later in the day so we left one snapper short of our limit. Small problem with the anchor being fouled, but was easily taken care of when the anchor rope broke. Did a real number on the bow roller too.  Once the rope was up, we surfed the rollers back in.  Got a new anchor at West and chain at Lowes. Friday looked a little rough out, so we tried a few close spots without success. The crew wanted to go out deeper, so I took them at their word and headed out into some rough seas. Stopped at the Paradise Hole again for snapper. Drifting didn't work, so I dropped anchor. The Snapper were on fire. In 10 minutes we had 3 nice reds and a Mangrove in the box. Then flipper showed up He took every fish we hooked. There were five of them and every time they took a fish they did a trick for us; jumping out the water, swimming on their backs....Almost like "So long humans and thanks for all the fish". (If you don't recognize the quote, your Probably younger than me) After loosing about 20 snapper without putting one in the boat and a sick crew, I called it and we headed back in. Everybody was happy with the 3 days fishing though. I'll be out again Tues/ Wed/ Thur, so if any of you see a 22ft Pursuit, N-Pursuit, give me a holler. Tight Lines.
