| Hit the water across the border about 4 p.m. Caught 15 to 20 cats until about 7:00 then caught a black grouper and a bluefish. Never caught a grouper there before. Lost two other bluefish and a ladyfish. Fishing with pinfish.

| Fhished just up the beach in front of the Sleep Inn about the same time. Cats were thick but I was using stinky frozen shrimp. Nothing else biting for me. Congrats on the black. I bet that was cool.

how common is it to catch a grouper off the beach?
pain is weakness leaving the body.....it lets you know you're still alive!

| I caught it on the wall at the Alabama Point Bridge. Never caught one on the beach. They like structure. Grouper are often caught on the jetties.
