| Grabbed a buddy a went fishing this morning hoping to find the ever elusive redfish for the upcoming EC Redfish Club tournament this Sunday. Only had a couple of hours before I had to pack up and go to work so I covered a bunch of ground in very short amount of time hoping to spook up something. Escambia bay this morning looked dead on the east side so I made quick decision to go across. 2nd cast, bammmmm, seezzzzzzzzzzzzz.... 45 minutes later and about 1/2 mile from where I hooked him, we got the beast in the boat. This will wake you up in the morning. My Shimano Spheros 3000FB is now truly field tested. 20lb powerpro w/ 20 floro leader. Fun... Some Pics.

| That is one helluva Jack on a 3000 size reel. Better check your drag washers. I bet they are flattened out after that long of a fight. It is easy to make your own. Just pick up a piece of felt and cut some new ones out.

Nice Jack, Its great getting out there, but before you know it, its time to turn in to get to work on time. Thanks for the pics and post.

You catch some, you lose some but the beer will never say no or try to run away.
