Went yesterday and jumped 5, boated 2, this one was just the right size, hooked them on herrings, threadfins and potato chips (don't know what they are really called, looked like a deep bellied shoemaker)

Pat,

I think the baitfish you described is an Atlantic Bumper.  I have never tried using them for bait but apparently they work well.  How do you fish for Tarpon?
