Guys I hit the water at 7:45 and it was great. I headed towards my spot and the SW wind started to howl after about an hour. So I had to come back into the wind and it was a chore. I remember saying "wow! nice Red!" so many times, a 4' Gar was in about 5" of water and I think we both scared each other. Anyway, I went alone and decided to head back towards the landing and bottom fish. I was talking with my wife as she was on her way home and she said "its raining where I am" and I looked up and it was thunder clouds over me. Started raining on me before I could get the boat home, but maybe next time.

There is one thing that you can say. "You wouldn't have gotten any thing sitting at the house in the recliner either!!!"

You got that right! It also make me not being able to wait for the next trip too. If I stay in the protected areas, I'm on the opposite side of our bay from the river mouths and they are full of grass.
