| I need to replace or rebuild the pump on my Bennett Trim tabs. Is there some place local I can find a used one or have mine rebuilt?

Totally agree. They will probelly warranty it for you.
Look at the top of the pump. There will be some numbers on it. Something like 7-07
That would be the date of manufacture. Write that down and have it handy when you call. They will ask for it.
That is if your sure the pump itself has failed?

Get on "The Hull Truth" forum and check the vendor links for Bennett. There's a guy on there, I think his name may be Tom, and goes by the screen name tabman. Bennett has the best customer service around. Sent me a brand new pump/solenoid system for a 15 y/o used boat a couple years ago for free. All I had to do was send them the old one. They wouldn't even accept money from me for freight.

| I called Bennett's customer service and they said it'd be $200.00 plus freight to replace it. I was just curious if I could get something local and save a few bucks.

I've got one for you... I have a boat I bought used and it has a Bennett control system, and a Boat Leveler (?) pump. It seems the electronics work, and it knows when it's not stabilized, but the pump doesn't seem to do anything to move the tabs. Anyone have recommendations on who to bring it to for a checkup and repair?
Thanks,
phil
