| I went over to Norriego Point about an hour ago to walk and look around. Of course the water is coming over the sea walls...some of the docks are water level...pretty much like it was in Gustav right now. Well, I was walking along the water's edge, sand pelting me in the face with the gusts.. I happened to look up. I stopped DEAD in my tracks.. lol.. It took a few seconds for it to register in my head - it was the PINK FLAMINGO people have been talking about! Thank the LORD I had my camera. I didn't want to get too close and spook it, so I think I took about 50 pictures of it so I would make sure to get a good shot. lol. I used Google Picasa to zoom into the pics... Enjoy. PS - If you want to see it yourself... the flamingo was on Norriego Point...Pass side, at the first "beach" towards the Harbor/Pass entrance.

Pink Flamingo is no longer there. Shawn D threw a cast net over it and brought it home.
