| My son and I made another trip to Mulat Bayou. Again we got on the water a little after 7am. Fish were breaking the surface everwhere. We threw spoons & topwater, but whatever they were - they didn't want 'em. We continued on to some broken docks. Jared hooked up right away with a nice Black Drum.
Then we caught a few Rat reds:
and then finally, we boated 2 back-to-back Slot Reds. This one is 20".
Mulat is a nice, calm place that holds some fish. Next week, we're hittin the Bay - looking for some drag screamin' Mackeral!

| I'm real glad to hear the fish are moving around there again, it is great place to get out of the wind, depending on tides and time of year. I know those pylons well!

KEEP AN OCCASSIONAL RED HERE AND THERE FOR DINNER, BUT FOR THE REST, PRACTICE HEALTHY CATCH & RELEASE TECHNIQUES SAVE SOME FOR THE FUTURE!
