| We have PM'd sever times back and forth today over some of his posts and his signature. It is the Ku Klux Klan symbol. I personally find it offensive. I will not hate someone just because they are black, Jewish, Catholic, Buddist, etc. Not much on hate in general. I can thoroughly dislike some people though. I thought others may feel the same way. I guess I was wrong. I mean, I voted for Macain, but, just because Obammer won, I am not going to post a picture of a Kluckker with a noose saying we should lynch him. America spoke. He won. I still remember the oath I took when I joined the Navy to protect our country and way of life. I have no use for skin heads, klukkers, black panthers, gang bangers..etc. I feel each of these groups are against America as a whole. Therefore, the symbol is offensive to me. I spoke for myself then, and now. I don't like it, but, if it doesn't bother ya'll, it shouldn't bother me. Wade

| Wade, I for one am with you. Didn't see the posts you are apologizing for or the one with the KKK symbol (I guess you removed), but the issues you are referring to are absolutley offensive to me. I believe in free speach, but I reserve the right to be offended by intollerance and biggotry and by God I believe in this nation and our system of democratic governance. McCain said it when he said Obama is his president. He is all of ours and will be for at least the next four years whether you voted for him or not. McCain was doing more than just being a gracious looser, he was showing his understanding of the fundamental tenets of our democracy. We nominate candidates, we listen to the debate, and we pick our leaders. Once that is done, we go forward as one nation hoping and praying that those we elected do a good job of honoring the trust we placed in them. In four years, we do it all over again. It is what separates us from many other nations. Based on your comments, I suspect you prefer our system to the one they have historically used in, oh, lets say Afganastan, for example. I figure having a candidate other than the one you voted for is better than civil war. As far as I'm concerned, no apology required. I'd simply prefer to say, thank you.

Apologizing to a racist POS is no better than tolerating the Taliban.

I'm with Hal here Wade,haha,go figure. I don't normally read the off topic stuff anymore but when I saw a public apology by Wade Hatten I couldn't help but think,WTF. Your apology is not accepted because there was no reason it should have been given. Fuck That Asshole is all I got to say! I'm a Proud AMERICAN no matter who is in office and will be a Proud AMERICAN once my statement is deleted. Fuck'em!  Standing by on CH.16 for deletion.

I can't ban anyone. I can delete. The post was tongue in cheek at best. I do want it brought to the forefront though. I am so sick of it. I want to see anyone post as they please. But, lately, I have gotten calls and PMs expressing alot of disgust with the racisim. Racism comes in many forms. All are nasty. I don't judge people by color. Assholes come in a rainbow. No race has the market cornered on that. This young feller I speak of is a good example. I will try to be more vigilant.

| To me, using a triple K logo is very much like using a swatzika and history will fill in the details on both of those images! I also publically apologized to an individual on this forum who was, unbenownst to me, using his last name as a logo. It happened to be a very common word used during the Nazi regime during WWII and it deeply offended me that anyone would choose that type of "symbol" to use as an avatar. Little did I know that it was this lad's God given last name!! I still am very embarassed at my narrowminded approach to the matter but what's done is done and I hope that he has accepted my apology and doesn't hold any bad feelings about it. The written word is quite a powerful weapon if one chooses to use it in that manner. Even if you don't want to offend someone, we all should be very careful of how we phrase our answers and our opinions when writing them down on a public forum. You oft-times can't erase what is written down and sometimes it will come back to haunt you.

Wade, I dont think you will find many that disagree with you on this post. I have not seen his logo because I keep the signatures turned off on my computer. I don't like the idea of having pictures in the signature because they clutter up the threads and make them harder to read. Keep up the good work.
