| I'd say this year is Alabama's best chance to beat Auburn for the next four years. AU is a QB away from having a VERY dangerous team. As for recruiting, Bama has always out recruited the state so I'm not much worried about that. And as for Alabama..... hhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahah I might not be laughing next week but today, hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhah Lousiana Monroe?? 4 turnovers isnt the coach...neither is not being able to move the ball on 3rd and 1 and then again on 4th and 1. thats effort and execution. its on the players. very few of them came out ready to play today. i just feel bad for the seniors...not a good way to go out at home.

I would be interested on a source for that. I've never heard that, but I think its something that should be there. Coaches get paid a tremdous amount of money, there should be some kind of punishment for lossing. Well, maybe not, maybe a better system would be a lower base salary and then bonuses for wins.

| I just don't even know what to say. That sucks. But Saban is always due for a loss to a nobody in his first season, ie UAB vs. LSU I am still an Alabama fan, but really tough to swallow this one. Thank god I will be in Cailfornia next weekend wes

I have to say that Saban has at least done a better job than Shula ever thought about doing. As for John Parker... Jesus Christ!! When you go to the line of scrimmage and already have it made up in your mind who you're going to throw the ball to (no matter if all 11 defenders are covering that person) and as soon as 1 person gets in your face you either A) throw the ball up in the air instead of out of bounds or out of the back of the end-zone, or B) curl up into the fetal position and take a sack for 20+ yards you are clarly an F'ing idiot. I'll take Ray Charles at QB. You can't hold a coach responsible for a complete idiot who has no field vision or adaptation skills. Last I checked, Saban hasn't thrown one interception. I had to turn the game off Sat to keep from rupturing an aneurysm! I do like the bud light song though, that's funny even if you are a UA fan!

| fizzy, I dont like things in 6's I prefer things in 12's like a 12 pack, or 12 National championships, or 12 years since we have thought about not being on probation. Even though I am really not a huge JPW fan, it is anybodies game this weekend. But I ain't scared of the plains, when I dated a girl from auburn, sat in the middle of the student section with all my roll tide junk on! I hear JPW and Brandon Cox are having a how bad we both suck at QB party before the game!

haha Caspr. It will be close and it all comes down to turnovers which both teams are very capable of. Usually the better running team wins, which should be Auburn but Alabama kind of balances that out because you guys have alot more big play capabilities on offense. So again, turnovers. They say it's going to be cold and rainy. I'll say the first team to 20 wins. Alot of people don't think it's going to be a good game but the best AU/UA game (probably one of the best football games I have ever seen) had no SEC implications, no national title implications, just purely pride on the line. Auburn won 31-27 in 1995. If both teams had been 10-0 or 9-1, it would have gone down as one of the greatest games.

Never heard of a coach getting paid less for wins. They do however have clauses for extra money if they get 10+ wins, Bowl win, BCS bowl invitation, BC bowl win, SECCG win and BCS title win. Won't be another LA-Monroe. Saban has stated a couple times Alabama will work 365 days a year to beat Auburn, they'll be ready to play.
