| forecast today was 50% chance of rain and 15 mph SW winds...well it was alittle cloudy early but quickly cleared up. we ran to bouy 15 in front of the light house and was met with plenty of birds... reds exploding all over...
dan got the first cast into the water and did not take long as the spool started making the famous alphabit letter ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ noise...
dan wanted his first fish to be landed using his hands...hey dan do not stick your finger in his mouth!
nice fish dan...
ok after picture taking and cleaning up the boat we headed to the birds again...
this time both mickey and dan landed their baits right in the middle of top water explosions...
double ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ on two spools and Houston we have a double hook up...
mickey fighting his fish...
and dan has the pelicans watching how to fight and land dinner...
mickey is the first to get his prize to the boat...
mickey with his first of six reds for the day...
dan gets his fish to the boat...
another fine redfish for dan...
this went on for several hours until we all agreed we were to tired to go on anymore! so our wives spent today chasing black friday and we spent our day chasing red friday... tight lines and great adventures!

Great fish and report! Could you tell what they were feeding on at the surface?
