I am still new to the area- only been fishing it since April. I have at least a clue for the summer flats fishing, and recently discovered 3mb and the pass for the fall/winter Reds run, but what is around come the end of December/early Jan?? My son is coming down and I am worried he will miss the Reds at the bridge that have been so dependable. I've got a 20' CC shearwater, so slightly offshore will work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The Reds and Trout are still around this time of year. Sheephead are in as well. Sheephead should be around Ft. Pickens soon. 3MB- I fish for trout during the day and Bull Reds at night. good luck.

You catch some, you lose some but the beer will never say no or try to run away.

Sheephead are on the structure in the pass and hang around the bridges and docks.  The redfish will still be around as well

Grouper, flounder and AJ's on the inshore public numbers and natural bottom.  Get some live pin fish or white trout (try the deep water in the backs of bayous or harbors looking for pin fish with your bottom machine) from 3mb, also.  Fish these live baits off the bottom about 3-6ft. and hole on for the groupers.  Fish a 10-20 off the bottom for the AJ's and small live bulls minnows for the flounder on the bottom flats around the wrecks.
