We will be doing a spearfishing trip this thursday the 18nth. We will leave Macs marina at 3:30 am and will return around 5:00 pm.

If you would like to come out and fish while we dive it's a free trip for you. We will be diving multiple spots from 90-180 ft of water and will be approx 24 miles off-shore. Should be good for grouper, Lots of aj's, and hopefully some black snapper, ect. We mark the spot and then throw a marker. We anchor and then drift back to the marker, so you will be fishing directly over the fish (prefer you fish from the front of the boat, plenty of room). It's an old beater boat, but it has a nice cabin and will be plenty warm inside on the way out (big heater).

The the trade off is I need you to drive the boat. I dont have an autopilot and just need someone to hold course while I prep gear or whatever else. It takes us about and hour and a half to get out to our furthest spot from the pass. I will do all of the driving till we get a couple of miles past the last sea marker so it's a pretty easy job. You can fish while we are diving and during the long surface intervals between each dive. Dont worry about the divers. Chris (tightsnatch) fishes with us just about every time we go and usually catches more fish than we do.

Overall you will have a good time with some fun people and all you really have to do is steer the boat a little. We take care of all the gas and ice, just bring yourself something to eat and whatever else you might want for the trip.
