| I've been thinking of what I would buy if I sold the house,a Mud truck,Boat, or Drag/street car...Or possibly both boat and truck/car if a Good deal...The mud truck could be a number of things Big 1ton Dodge to a Jeep cheorkee, But I want it lifted with some big ol 35's on it.. It would really be for me and the boy to drive everynow and then..Then the drag car would have to be something street legal probably in the 10's on the 1/8th mile... Boat would be just something simple, center console..

| I have a Multi purpose truck. It is a 2500HD like posted above except with stock tires. I haul my 23 sport proline (7k lbs) and then it will also race with some minor changes. If you are unsure of your wishes think killing two birds with one stone. I can run a low 13 or a high 12. Diesels are not slow any more. O yea if you get a 2500 ONLY get a diesel. The other motors are crap and arn't worth the money.

| Very nice job on the FJ-40!!! I restored about 6 or 7 of the old FJ's when I was in that line of work and I still wish I would have kept at least one of them for my own use. The last one I think I posted photos of on this forum, it was tricked out more than all the other ones and had some gorgeous paint and stripes on it and was my favorite runaround truck out of them all!! Now, if y'all weren't so hung up on "wheels" for offroading, ya might like the Ripsaw!!! The first time I saw this video I almost fell out!! This machine was awesome, now they have adapted it for military and LEO use and I don't know if there will be any civilian uses for it since it does tear up alot of ground when it is opened up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HyZ-raQseg&feature=related But 0 to 50 in 3.5 seconds offroad ain't too shabby!!

| Truck-Toyota pickup with a solid front axle. 6" of lift and 35's would probably do it. Car-Porsche 911 Twin Turbo-Black Daily Driver-Ford F-250 Boat-36ft Contender

| I would go for the boat. Because I would not half to worry so much about where I am when playing in the boat versus a mud truck. Unless your mud truck is to be a daily driver / driveway queen that never sees mud. A daily driver slash weekend drag car would be okay but you have to resist the urge to not overdue the modifications that render it a dragcar only. And how many places are there to run a drag car within 100 miles? Holt? But at least all will severely eat into your budget and limit your booze, cigs, skirt chasin and drug money which is a good thing, LOL.

| the supra's are ok, just too much money for me and when you soup it up you really still dont get anywhere.. there was a local here in pensacola that spent night and day trying to get some HP out of it, but I dont think he really got to where he wanted he finally sold it after having it for like 8months... I think it went for 32K or more..

that supra looks like it came straight off the fast and the furious tokyo drift. There has been several locals here with supras. As far as them getting modded and still not going anywhere is a little off. Thats about the only motor you can put any size turbo you want to and make killer power. Bob that works at Pensacola Honda had one that extremely clean, stock internals, a 76 or 88mm turbo with supporting mods, made close to 800 hp to the wheels through a automatic( over 1000 with a 6 speed) and I believe he made it into the 9's in the quarter. In the larger cities as houston or chicago where street racing is larger, the supras are some of their fastest cars on the street. I have yet to see anything else out run a highly modded hyabusa. There are more track around here than holt too, theres mobile and its a pretty nice track, theres breakaway, and atmore. You'd be able to do better than 10s tho. A stock mustang will run in the 9's, a few bolt-ons and your in the low 8s, and 7's are easy, all on a nice street drag radial. I have several friends that have 100% street cars that run in the mid to low 6's. You could always have a little toy for you and your son(I think thats what you were asking?) to tinker with though, he'll remember all those times with dad, and days at the track, going to burger kind on 9mile for the car show. But I'd pick the boat, the whole family can enjoy it more, you don't have to fish, just go hang out on a beach somewhere, but it doesn't get much better than going fishing together.
