Thanks Jon, I might take you up on a ride by..... jeff465, I have nothing bad to say about Chris and no one on here should either. If my money had went to Chandler I would have probably just ate my loses but he didn't get the money and I'm out the plane ride.Yea Joel I'm with you on that 100%. I hope it didn't sound any other way! In the end I hope this gets resolved in yours and get'n'wades favor and for the sake of not taking advantage of a sick kid I hope it's some other explaination than a scam on 38bat's part. I see no way of making this OK by any explaination, but I hope that it was not started with the intent of fraud and he just had something bad cause him to do this. Jeff

I seen him driving down highway 87 north thanksgiving day in his brown van but I didn't turn around because I had the kids with me. He is still around and he told me that day in walmart parking lot he still looks at the forum but would not log on because Chris would "bug him". He had no plans of giving Chris the money.

Like others have said...Chris (shiznik) is a good guy. i have met him a few times and helped him work on his boat and i can tell you that he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. he did not ask 38Bat to do the plane ride...he did that on his own which at the time seemed like a great thing to do for chandler...just sucks it turned out this way. All of this mess about this scam has really weighed heavy on Chris...he does not deserve to be tied in with this...he has enough on his plate to worry about with out all of this. i hope those of you that have not met him will get a chance to one day as he really is a great guy. and to 38Bat...i hope you get what you got comin to you douch bag.

| I find this very upsetting. I too participated in a donation to Chandler and Schiznik, but I insisted my money go direct to a bank in their neighborhood in an account set ip for these proposes. Thinking back on this, this guy Bat38 contacted me and offered to take the money over to Schiznik with the other money you all are talking about here. Glad I didn't take him up on his offer, I also may have a way of possibly tracking him down, so if this goes to the Sheriffs office let me know and I will provide a lead that should provide quite useful. Anyone know how Chandler is doing?

Here is where a liar becomes a thief. I believe that would be Fraud; and using the internet to aid in Fraud comes under Federal law. If I were him, I would poney up the money, and fast, to prevent charges. Chances are if he pulled the scam here, he has done it on other forums and web locations. I hope they catch the scumbag and stick it to him  , without vaseline.

| Please accept my appoligies to not posting very much lately on the forum due to me working midnight shift at work and now they have locked down our internet use, when I get home in the morning, I try to get some sleep and its very hard with all the noises throughout the day. I want to let all of you know that we have greatly appreciated all your prayers and help you have given. No, we never recieved any money from the plane ride auctions and I don't even know what Joe/38bat even looks like in person. He could walk right past me and I'd never know it was him. I try very hard to live an honest, christian life and I would "never" pose as someone I wasn't nor try to scam anyone at all, not just on a forum where people might not meet me face to face. God is the one that we all will have to answer to one day and I am at a loss for words about Joe/38batt. By the way, Joe/38bat, if you log on and read this post, please don't be worried about me bugging you because I trust someone until I can't. That's how I got to know you and all this mess started in the first place. I didn't ask you to auction any plane rides, that was all your doings. However, I do believe in forgiveness. I don't want to offend anyone on this forum but I feel obligated to add this to my post. It says that a person has to forgive another person 7X70 times for the "same" offense in the same day. Meaning Joe, I cannot ever be forgiven for things I have done in my life if I weren't willing to forgive others when they offend me. Your heart has got to be weighing very heavy right now, and they only way you can get that forgiveness, is ask for it. You need to come on this forum and deal with this issue with all those involved and hopefully you can wind up with a piece of mind that you can be proud of. When I had spoke to you several times, you had spoke highly of your children and how you were needing to get off the phone because of needing to go to Boy Scout meetings. Your children are watching you even though you may not know it, but children have nothing else to do other than learn from those they are around all the time. When you and I spoke on the phone, each time we disconnected, you always told me, call me if I just needed to talk and you would help me make it through some of the tough times our family are going through. I didn't realize that you resented me contacting you and talking. I was always concerened about how you and your family were doing and always wished you the best. I began thinking the world of you because of the efforts you were willing to go to help our family out, but now all I can do is pray for you that you will please come forward and correct this situation that is not fair to any of us. You have a chance to fix this before it winds up where you had your chance and it won't be reversable. It sounds like the guys are wanting to give you this one last chance and to no contact them will just be yourself to blame once they have to come after you. You might think you can hide, but there are many, many ways to track you down that they will use, especially when a Federal Investigations Unit gets involved. Please change your approach and settle up with these guys. I will give you my word that you don't have to worry about me bugging you anymore, even if you do decide to log back on and stay a member of the forum. What is done is done and you are the only one that can correct it. For all of you members out there that I have let down by not contiuing to post updates, I appoligize. About 2 months ago, my wife's family Dr. had thought he'd found a large hard mass under her right ribcage that continued around to the front of her breastbone he thought might have been a tumor. She has now had it scanned and, Happy Day!, it was just scar tissue from her previous Gall Bladder surgery, no tumor! I haven't really been myself because I have been worried about possibly losing my wife also. Our grandson Chandler has still been taking the Chemo tablets, he take 14 of them, one every 6 hours, and then the next dose is and IV Chemo treatment through his port in his upper left chest by his clavical, then a period of time goes by and it starts all over agin. He has been able to eat just a little more than what he had been initially and can walk now without his walker. He had to have an MRI last week at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, and the Dr. said the findings did not show it had grown or had shrunk in size. I appoligize for not having the correct spelling for your user name Tellem Pictus, but the initial surgery was done by Dr. Canaday when he initially was admitted to the PICU unit. He was then m oved down the hallway to the Adolescent rooms in room 364 or something like that and his Oncologist's name is Dr. Schwartz. He still sees him regularly. I remeber reading about someone knowing the nurses in that ward and I can recall saying hello to them for you when I stopped at the nurses' station there. Chandler is doing better menatlly and is regaining his memory. He is being home schooled and they have tested him and said that he is at and above the 5th grade level where he needs to be, so all looks good there too! I had stopped posting about our grandson because of all the issues that happended with Joe/38batt, and thought I would get kicked off this forum because of all the problems. I even thought about changing my user name so I could have all you guys as friends and not have our user name Shiznik, which is related to our 18 year old son who passed away remembered as a problem member. I love this forum and I would love it if all of you kept your faith in me and my being sincere with all my intensions. I feel like I have found a great family of fishing buddies on this forum and ask that you please pray for our grandson Chandler once again. I am sorry this was so long, but I have been worried about this for a very long time, Chris

Good deal Chris. Thanks for the update. Your family is still in everyone's prayers. If your grandson is back at Sacred Heart for anything, let me know. My sister-in-law is now full time there on school age. My wife was just working in the PICU last saturday as well.

| Schznik... I feel your pain. I really, really do. I understand in depth where you are right now. My sister had her 6th surgery right before Christmas for re-construction. Not to mention Daddy. You aren't even considered for banning. Our prayers still go out to your family. I haven't posted on this thread because of it's basis of someone ripping people off. I hope your Grandson makes a good recovery. Glad to see you post. The deal with bat38 will work itself out in due time....I'm sure. Karma being what it is.

Very well said Chris and thanks for the Update on Chandler and your Wife. glad things are atleast getting a little bit better for you rather then worse. Hopefull with your post and what my self and others have said about you that will clear the air of any doubt anyone might have had in you. Im sure this will all work out in the end. oh and BTW...i got 38Bats email and its an AOL email so i added it to my buddy list...he was online about 20 min ago and just signed off so im sure if any one has emailed him he is reading it just not replying.

| Hey Chris, Glad to see you back on here and I am so glad to see the update on Chandler!! I was concerned with not seeing anything new on him but I never connected his updates with your feelings about this whole sordid affair with this guy and his plane ride offerings. That just never clicked with me. So I am glad to see that you have cleared the air with some of the people who didn't ever meet you and felt like you may have been involved in this mess. I knew better but it sounds so much more authentic coming from you than from second hand information and you stated your situation so much better than I ever could. Now, you need to check out the Spam thread, I am not letting this drop!! We WILL have our first annual SpamFest no matter who shows up or how long it takes to get it together! I am counting on you to be there so you keep in touch, eh?? Give Chandler a hug and tell him that I have him in all my prayers and I wish him well.

There absolutley are no hard feelings form me at all Chris, I lost my father to Pancreatic cancer a 4 years ago, 1 month from the day we found out he had it. That is why I was willing to help. It is not easy. This post was started only to help get the money where it should have gone and to give this guy ample time to make good on his word, or at least give a good explanation. Thanks to everyone who has passed information/advice along to me, as I said It will be used wisely. People try to run on Good Faith when it comes to others and unfortunatley guys like this lurk around for opportunities. His will come soon. | FSS 817.02 OBTAINING PROPERTY BY FALSE PERSONATION. = Whoever falsely personates or represents another, and in such assumed character receives any property intended to be delivered to the party so personated, with intent to convert the same to his/her own use, shall be punished as if he/she had been convicted of larceny. If I read correctly, both "donations" were $300.00 + which in "larceny" terms means it's a felony, which means 2 felony counts. I would not wait another second for him to contact ya'll. It would probably be easiest to go to the District Office where he lives and file the report from there. 983-1100 will put you in touch with Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office. Good luck to ya'll and I feel sorry for the real victims......Makes folks think twice about donating money which is bad for the charitable organization.

And just to show ya how things like that do affect a person's thinking, there were some people collecting at a traffic light in Miramar Beach by the Winn-Dixie yesterday, one of those drop-the-money-in-a-bucket kind of things. I pulled up when the light turned red and, as they walked past my car, I thought, "How do I really know they are legitimate??" and I kept the window up as the guy walked past and said, "Have a blessed day!". I usually throw at least some change in those buckets just because I like to do some little thing to help others once in awhile but I had this incident lurking in the back of my mind and it affected my final judgement as to give or not to give. I am a bit ashamed to admit that I allowed such actions of someone of the level that this "bat" guy is to cloud my thinking.

| I really hate that this has happened and of course my prayers go out to Chris and his family. I would like to let everyone know again that at the same time this happened that Bay Pirate(Jeff) also had an auction going for hardwood flooring and I bought the flooring from him. This one was a legitimate deal and the money did go to Chandlers account and that Jeff is in no way connected with 38bat. There are truley people out there that are for real about helping out and I hoe that this incident does not sway anyone that can from helping Chandler.
