Check out this link to the Shimano Trinidad TN12 model reels for $19.99 normal retail $349.99.  I called Cabela's today and she said that price is correct but they are on backorder so you have to wait until they arrive at the warehouse.  Just thought ya'll might be interested.

Wow,  what a deal! I ordered 3 just for jigging. Thanks for the heads up!

Be thankful we're not getting all the government we're paying for.

I just ordered 2 myself.  I hope this is for reel.  No pun intended.  These will be ecxellent live bait reels for trout, reds, etc.  This promo has to be a mistake.

Thanks for the heads up!

Even though they are back ordered, if anybody wants one, I would suggest they order quick before they shut this deal down.  This won't last long.

The price is an error, and obviously so.  The correct price is $329. and that's what those ordering it will be charged on their card.  If you did order one, (or three) you would be wise to check with them before the charge hits your card and the reels are shipped.  It'll save having to return them, later.

I ordered four.  I agree it is an error but the receipt for purchase and the charge on my card is only $90.  Sometimes large retailers who do mis-mark items will sell for the price as marked.  It's a worth a shot.

I think they just caught on at Cabellas because they are now showing that the TN12s are sold out and no longer back ordered.

I have a email confirmation and receipt reflecting my purchase and price for 2 of those reels.  I think they will have to honor it.

I have the email confirmation of 2 reels that I ordered.  They better not charge any more than the confirmation states.  I believe, by law, they must honor this.

I got 2.

It's interesting that they changed the page to say "SOLD OUT", but did not change the special price.  I'd say they're gonna honor their sales.

By the way ateupwitit, I think we all owe you a couple beers each... thanks for the heads up.!!!

I don't drink but I'll settle out of court for an offshore trip, lol.  I was saving $200 in gift cards to Cabela's when I saw the deal on the reels.

Thanks again ateupwitit.

I'm good for a 12 pk of your favorite soda if Cabellas comes through.  From reading the posts after mine, it's looking pretty good.  However, I wonder how long they will be "back ordered".

But hell, for $20.00 each, I can wait!!

Now the site has the reels back to regular price and it doesnt say sold out or backordered. It looks like you can purchase them at full price.   I am waiting to see what happens cause i ordered some. Only time will tell.

No way Hose!!

I just got a call from Cabellas and was informed that due to an internet pricing error, they were unable to process my order.  However, they would be happy to process my order at their correct price of $329.00 each.

It was worth a shot.

Do they have a disclosure saying that they are not responsible for pricing errors on their website.  If not, you could get nasty with them.

Edit: I just found this on their website so, I guess it was worth a shot:

i would think that if they charged the actual 299.99 or whatever the real price is that you could contest that with your credit card company and they will make Cabela's eat that.
