| Again spent the first part of the day checkin out new areas. Pickin up a few Scamp, White snapper, a couple of Big Eyes, and a "Long Finned Sea Bass"(beutiful fish I think Capt Jake and crew got one as well). Moved over towards some more proven scamp grounds and topped off with some nice scamps and a couple of snowies. We also got a handful of triggers on the way out. I think "Boatless" got some pics maybe he can post.

That was a fun trip! Capt Brandon can put you on some fish for sure. That cape horn is pretty bad too. Thanks again.

| That capehorn is bad to the bone! It was a great trip. I've got some pics of the long tail sea bass and the big snowy. I'll post them as soon as I figure out this new camera. P.S.- I told y'all it was a sea bass!

Yeah-Yeah-Yeah, you were right. The head and mouth just looked a little small to be a sea bass but it sure was. Good call on the ID! Hey, who got the meat from the sea bass??? Was it good?

The guy who caught it on the electric reel got it (sorry I'm horrible with names ). I cleaned it separate and made sure he got the fillets. The meat looked really good, real white with not much of a blood line.I would have made sure Josh got some of his big scamp and the other guy got some snowy, but I didn't clean either one of those fish, so they just went in the pile with the other grouper.

Hey Brandon! Glad to see you fishing again!!! Looks like you haven't lost your touch! Did you see the pick of my 56lb rock? You really need to try to come up here sometime and fish with me.
