| Started off slow but bite picked up in the afternoon. Snapper were caught in about 180. The scamp and aj came from a 250' spot. It's about time the gulf laid down. We need some more days like this. Live bait was hard to come by. Squid and sardines worked ok. Live bait caught on a few spots worked best. Didn't get a picture at the dock. Here's half the haul:

I thought snapper season was closed! ..Oh wait those are lane snapper..Oh and a mingo..Nice haul would loved to see the other half!

| it is amazing what you can do with a yellow sharpie! nice catch! just kidding about the sharpie. it snapper season all year if you know where to go. there's more than reds out there! awesome job i think they taste just as good as the reds and the mingos are even better! scot
