| Looking for a carry and home protection pistol Don't have a lot of money to invest. Missed the sale at Academy on the Sig in .40 S&W back in oct or nov for $299.00. I've got $200.00 I can work with and an additional $100.00 by Sat, 01/10. So let me know if any of you out there just have too many or have one that you want to upgrade. Looking for best deal in either 9mm, .40cal, will consider .38 or .357. Thanks Daryle (850) 916-0219

| When you wrote "Sig" you had me going for a second. Academy was selling the S&W sigma SW9 or SW40VE for $299. "Sig" is the short reference to Sig Sauer....much more expensive. The sigma in 9 or 40 is now selling for $330, not a bad price for new. They had some issues with the sigma's earlier but it seems they've corrected them now. If you google CDNN investments, they usually have some of the best prices on remanufactured and used Glocks that should be real close to your price range also. If you don't have a concealed carry license and are leaning more towards home protection you'd be much better off buying a mossberg maverick 12 gauge from Academy for $160 (which with some 00 buck) is easily the ultimate in home protection. and if you don't have a Concealed carry licence, you can set up a class with me, we can solve that issue also..
