| The connector portion of my bilge broke off, the hose cannot attach. Attwood says it has a 3 yr warranty. Has anyone every claimed warranty with them, or should I plan on a new bilge?

| No, it was OE on a 07 boat I just bought. Wouldn't they be able to use the model/part number?

I would call Attwood's coustomer service number and tell them you situation. Most of the time they are very helpful and will not need a reciept. I find this true with most company's, just be straight with them and they will most times do the right things.

your boat purchase is all the reciept you need,,,, call them and they will send you a new pump,, they will also send you a ups label to send the old part back in..... if you are unable to put it in.... bring it to me and i will take care of the warranty for you... but you will be responsible for the labor.... hope this helps...

| Called Attwood today. got a customer service rep on second ring. Short explanation of what happened to the bilge, in a second they offered to send a replacement piece out free of charge. I am glad I do not have to remove the old one and install a new bilge. They are sending only the connector that broke.
