| friend of a friend turned me onto these. i prefer long sleeves for some sun protection, and columibas are great. i have a handful of cotton tee long sleeves, and i like them too, but this makes a great alternative. they come in cotton and a microfiber. not a 'dressed up' with pockets and whathaveyou. dig the mesh underarms and the built in 'buff'. http://gillzshirts.com/index.html havent worn one yet. just checking them out. thoughts? drew

| Drew, They look great, I too need to switch to long sleeves. I can tell you the new technology golf shirts are a lot cooler, though they are very shiny... I'm gonna order a couple. The real test is July and August bottom fishing or downwind slow trolling. They can't be any hotter I wouldn't think. Jim

| Under Armour makes a really nice fishing shirt in both long and short sleeve. A little bit pricey, but are comfortable and they keep you dry. But I also guess they are like Columbia shirts.

| tarpon wear was some cool stuff. pricey, and maybe a head of their time. always wanted one of the shirts, but 60 or 70 bucks was just too steep for my cheapo self. i thought the same thing about the built-in buff. but i noticed they have a 'buffless' model for 10 bucks cheaper. the vents are the what interests me (along with the price). i dunno. just thought it was an interesting option to columiba and the price certainly right, when compared to other high end tech shirts. i may order one (buffless), just to check them out. cheers. drew

Everyone knows Wade is the poster boy for Columbia shirts. This from the guy who says if it doesn't have 77 pockets in not a real shirt!
