| I know its been a rough year financially for alot of people, me included. So in an effort to plan ahead for next year I thought I would put this out now. I am looking for a decent club around here where I can take my two sons hunting for less than a $1000. My dad is a 100% disabled vet and did not hunt this year and that really sucked, my first year without him with me. I figure if I can find something reasonable and close by (NW Florida), I can plan now and work some side jobs to save money for next season. I have no problem putting in work days and doing more than my fair share to be in a decent club. If anyone knows of such a club with a couple of openings please send me a pm. Thanks ahead of time. And if this came across as whining it was not intended that way. Just planning ahead. Keith

| Tony, you are always good for a laugh. You join first. I said a decent club and I would like for my kids to actually see a deer. I'll catch up with you later.

Hey man , me and a couple forum members are in the works of starting a club in South Alabama. Still in the works, but we are looking at some places and with the right amount of members it would put your dues at around 500 so just pm me and I will let you know as things progress.

i believe they have messed up them woods behind haywards. they probably will kill some bucks back there before the season is over. but its getting harder and harder. as much as the does get shot at, they are hard to kill back there as a buck deer is.i don't think theres been a deer killed of quailview sense bowseason. they are hunting the pond to death. and the gasline gets sit on just about everyday.to many people hunting in the same spots. i guess things never change. new folks, same game...................tony

| Yep it sounds like it... I hunted there the first few years Hayward and Steve Farrish started it back in 95. That was back when there was only about 5 of us hunted the whole place and they didn't have the land across 87, I think the last year I was in it was when he picked that up across 87. I used to hunt off of Quailview, off the gasline and around the cemetary. I had Quailview all to myself and I actually made two of those food plots back there, the ones when you go through what used to be the clearcut back there (hang to the right where the road forked), I made the one on the right hand side and the one on the left hand side close to the branch. I always saw a few pretty good deer up on the gasline but they always disappeared after Thanksgiving weekend... One of my good friends is still in that club, he used to kill some pretty good deer in that block just West of the crossraods...
