| Headed out the Destin pass at about 8 and got a $20 shot of bait. Headed out to the SE to about 105-115 ft. Anchored up and sent some baits down. Sara caught the first fish of the day at 17", it was the lucky fish so we iced it down, then she wanted to catch some sun, so we pulled up 3 more 20+" fish. Looking for some groupies, i headed out to a grouper hole jsut to the south, but another boat was to close for me to pull on it, so i headed on to a deeper gouper hole in 180. Eric pulled up out a couple RG small one was 22" largest was about 14lbs. Headed back in and decided stop of at a one more snapper hole back in the 115ft range and see if we couldnt put a couple of nice snaps in the box. Put a nce 25" and a 24" fish in the box and headed home. Winds were out of the SW, but layed down nice in the afternoon, made for a nice run in at 29knts. Capt. Tim
Here is a pic from the 22 June trip the week prior out to the SE again and in about the same depths. Dwight's idea of taking the kids with us was a good idea and wound up to be a great day!
