i purchased a boat without the propeller,i have one now,but want to make sure i install it right, can someone help ,please

| if you can pull it by here today, ill make sure it is installed properly First put the thrust washer on , if you look inside the washer you will see a taper. the big end of the taper goes down. then put the prop on, if it is a genuine merc prop make sure the hub is inside it, then install the spline then the lock ring then the nut,, tighten to about 45 to 50 lb/ft and bend 3 of the lock tabs down. and you are done,, make sure you lube it very well all during the process.....
