I found a posiedon reg for sale and was curious if it was worth the money.

Posiedons are great regs. They were built for the Tech divers and are rated to over 400ft. The 2nd stage however doesn't bring the pressure down at all and it comes out at 140psi. I'm pretty sure that's about right.

How much did you find one for if you don't mind me asking?

The best thing about diving. My girlfriend can't yell at me underwater

Diving is life, everything else is just a surface interval

Handle every situation like a dog if you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.

I personally think they are over priced and over rated. I like the Atomic Aquatic regs.

Poseidon regs can be tough and expensive to get serviced.  Depending on the model there can be some serious problems in case of a first stage failure.  Because of the pressures involved on some models, they often require a poseidon octo.

Generally, unless you have a specific need for them, they tend to be a bit much for recreational diving.

+1 on the Atomics. I own 2 M1's and like them more then I like my girlfriend.
