| Last weekend was ok... Today was outstanding. Me and my brother started out around 6:30 with live shrimp and fiddler crabs on a slip rig. The tide was going out and the water was stained but we still managed to get this nice 20" sheepshead
We fished doing the same thing for an hour or so and managed a couple more sheepshead.

Then the tide began to turn and the bite REALLY began to pick up. I had some large shrimp from Sextons seafood market. I peeled em and stuck the hook throught the tail and bounced em on the bottom on a slip rig... Almost instantly I was hooked up. To this nice slot Redfish:
We caught around 8 Redfish in all with a couple over the slot. I guess they loved the smell of the dead shrimp. There was a few Black Drum being caught also. Best trip of the year so far. The bridge was getting packed so I headed out to start on dinner

| A slip rig is just en egg sinker fed onto your line tied to a swivel and then you tie your leader and hook to the swivel. so its :Sinker -> swivel -> leader -> hook
