Headed over to Jims Fish Camp on 90.  I've never fished there before so I asked "Jim" where to look for Reds and Trout.  He told me a spot just south east of the bridge there.  Me and my son were throwing topwater, Redfish Magics, Bass Assassion Jigs and some swimming baits.  I caught one little largemouth just north of the bridge.  Nothing below.

We tried quite a few spots south of the bridge including saltsmans cove and over to the Escambia River....

Never did catch anything.  That was depressing.

Hang in there and keep on plugging away. Maybe the low tides in morning were hurting you. High tides have been running real late in the day. It might seem kind of strange but you could always throw some earthworms around the reeds. Everything hits them shellcrackers, sheepshead, redfish  and bass. Just something to consider if you are fishing that area. With light spinning tackle you can have a lot of fun.
