FISHING BOATS WITH MUSIC ARE GAY

IMO

people who say stuff is "gay" are usually just frustrated because they are in the closet themselves...

Or a retarded idiot that can not offer a constructive opinion on the subject matter becasue they know nothing about said subject.  You do know that people use their FISHING boats for other recreational purposes too.  You know, like taking your family out for a nice relaxing day at McRee to sit back have a cold one and listen to some good tunes while the kiddies play.  Please refrain from having diarrhea of the mouth and think about your post before making such asinine statements

I'll agree with the folks that say go cheap.  Unless you like to let the whole world know what you are listening too, cheap stuff will play the tunes.  And in the saltwater environment, cheap and expensive usually have the same lifespan.  I have rarely had an audio system on a boat last more than 5 years with the average being about 3-4 years.  Whether it's the speakers or the head unit, one part of the system always will give out in that time frame usually.

Here's the way I went.  Not cheap, but not terribly expensive.  Sounds good all around, and at any speed.  Don't need no battery draining amp. and can play an mp3 formatted disc for more than 12 hrs. of music and still start right up.  Clarion M475 head unit with Audioformz wakeboard tower housings loaded with Polk Audio 6.5" marine speakers.  Sweet sound at an affordable price.

Use a 50$ boom box. Installed radios usually don't last very long!

Years ago when I was a teenager we tried that and it only made one trip!!!

Here's the link to Audioformz, they can hook you up with the speaker housings and load them with the Polks or other brand of your choice.

How about this for a well thought out post: ?

Death from above-we all know that honesty isn't exactly high up on your list of priorites, as indicated by your first "offshore" report in that section. As far as I am concerned, you are a worthless sack of shit. How about you keep your mouth shut from now on; seeing as how you don't offer anything worthwhile to this website except your bogus reports?
