| Hit the Station at about 430/5pm to scope out some reds. It looked very promising with the tide moving in and little bait popping in and out so i stayed for a bit. Hung around until 7ish with no red bite. My gulps were getting hit by pins which is a great sign, and good sized mullet were leaping all over the place. So even tho i didnt yank anything, i felt good knowing that the good fishing was on its way in and i can not WAIT! On the way home, i checked the pier and absolutley no action there. So if you didnt go, you didnt miss anything. I did make on elast stop however, it was on Oky island to recon some sand fleas. BAd news... only scooped ONE. I walked 500 yards up and back the other direction on relitivley un bothered sand, but nothing was there yet. The one i raked had eggs in it, so i threw it back hoping for them to be full size come this weekend (ya right). Anyway, that is the report i got for today. oh btw, i was only using artificials on jig heads at the CG station. Tight Lines!

Pinner nipping at your baits....that's a very good sign. Within the next week it will switch ON like a switch. Test you drag....

I threw a gotcha by the cg station hoping to get a spanish since some guy reported catching some there but I didnt catch a one. the water was pretty chilly and I had to keep dodging jellyfish.

Fished any of the Destin bayous lately? I'm giving it a try at about 4:30 after work. Reds were in Indian bayou for a while, but haven't fished it for a few weeks.
