Finally got a chance to get out on Wednesday 3/26/08 to hunt some of the Sheeps.  A co-worker had fished the day before and ran out of bait right as the bite started up.  I did not want the same to happen to me but we didn't get much shrimp at Outcast but we got what they had left.  It was a slow bite wading through many pin fish so I started mixing in some left over frozen shrimp in with the others.  The guy next to us got a very nice size Pomp using a piece of frozen shrimp. A co-worker with me got a few Sheep and a nice Drum.  I got enough Sheep and a Blue, I lost as many as I caught.  Bouncing the bait off the bottom seemed to trigger the caught bite.

I baked a few fillets this evening and it turned out great. I laid them on a bed of red potatoes, sweet Onion, tomato, garlic, lemon, and some olive oil, and some rice on the side.  As usual I was very satisfied with the tasty sheephead.
