| Went out around 3pm at 17th street. Tossed the net after a hour of nothing, fishing live shrimp, free lined with florocarbon. Caught a bucked full of bait fish though, hoping to go to the bridge and pull up something good. I look up and all the sudden and I could barely see, fog came out of no where. I started getting a little upset thinking my night was going to be F'ed. Had plans to meet a friend with a bigger boat and go to 3 mile, thank god the fog disapeared. 7:45 my frined showed up with his girlfriend and we headed out. We all threw out a bottom rig with mullet and live shrimp. I always throw jigs and they always sit on the ACES. So I tie on a white 1/4 jig head, gulg smoke mullet. Threw it for about 10 mins and finally got a few nibbles. Few mintutes later I pull in the average run of small white trout (6-7) in 2 mins lol. My other reel and my friends reels have not moved so I took a brief break. Got back on the jig, caught a white trout again and then BOOM my lil penn 2000 affinity reel was smoking. I use 8lb power pro and I knew my line had to be getting down to the mono so I tighten up on it and held the spool. BIG RED I was pumped, never caught the big reds before. Mean while my friend where sitting there and I kept the white trout coming on my jig. My big rod and live bait was still sitting in the water. After a few minutes I was fighting another one, and another one and another one. I caught 4 big reds and probably 20 trout. All on the same jig head lol! My friends finally caught, I think 3 trout on the other 4 poles out. I felt bad, I tried and tried to get them to throw a jig but they never would. Oh well, worked out great for me! Next time they said they are going to listen lol. We where on by 11:30, last hour, hour and half was pretty slow. I had a blast, lite takle is to fun!

Pretty clever holding up fingers and moving backgrounds so you can take pictures of the same fish, but make it look like 4 different ones Just kidding! Awesome catch man!

Hopefully I will run into them again. I will make sure any doughters are put to rest on taking 4 different angles of one fish LOL Todd by the bay - I am sure we will run into each other agian, maybe one day we can hook up and post some more red fish pics.
