pompano were being caught nearly 3/4 of the pier ! I caught a nice chunky pomp, the first fish for me off the pier this year - maybe it's a good sign for the future this season.

also watched a formation of 12 - 14 blackhawk (seahawk ?) choppers and some A-10 warthogs fly over the pier - pretty cool !

didn't see anything else landed besides the pomps, did see some jacks and a mystery fish , some said it was a blackfin, others said it was a bobo.
